Yes. Each Realm suite’s fan coil, the unit that delivers heating and cooling, is provided through a rental program with a national home services provider. Suites with one fan coil are $77.00 per month plus HST, and suites with two are $99.00 per month plus HST in total. That price includes a full equipment warranty and all repair and maintenance, parts and labour, for the life of the equipment, with a 24 hour emergency line. Owners who prefer to own their equipment outright can buy it out at any time, at a price set in advance by the age of the equipment.

The rental terms and the buyout schedule are set out in the agreement every buyer reviews with their own lawyer during Ontario’s statutory ten day rescission period. In suite equipment rentals are standard practice in new Ontario condominiums, the vertical version of the hot water tank or furnace rental that comes with most low rise homes in this province.
